In his 40 years in the F&B industry, Quint Hanson has been involved in virtually every aspect of the operation. From planning to ordering to staffing and opening, Quint has supported his clients with a resourceful, goal-oriented management style they've come to rely on.
In his capacity at Innovation Project Development, Quint supports clients at all levels of their food and beverage operations. His experience includes a depth of expertise in areas including dining room, culinary, liquor, as well as banquet and catering. During multiple ground-up openings at casinos, racinos and other hospitality operations, Quint has worked at the executive level on the design, construction, opening and operations of restaurants, bars and buffets within the properties.
Quint believes strongly that casino food and beverage operations can and should show a profit. His philosophies on staffing and training, procurement, guest service, and food preparation and quality, have helped casinos throughout Indian Country realize their potential to be profitable, high quality food operations.
In addition to his years of consulting work, Quint had previously served as Director of F&B Operations for Mystic Lake Casino in Shakopee, Minnesota. While with Mystic Lake Casino, he was responsible for five restaurant operations, including both culinary and dining room management teams, as well as line employees totaling over 700 in number. He also oversaw the banquet catering department, an 18,000 square foot facility. One of the more significant openings at Mystic Lake, was that of a new 486 seat buffet, which Quint planned from design and concept to staffing, training, menu design and opening.
Prior to that staff position, Quint handled the opening and was general manager of the Grand Grill Americana at the Grand Casino, Hinckley, a 349-seat sports bar and bistro. And before that, he served as the Vice President of Operations and Corporate Officer for Country Kitchen International, a 250-unit chain of corporate and franchised family-style restaurants.
